Law and Gospel

Pastor Tom Baker discusses theological distinctions between Law & Gospel on different topics, including weekly lectionary, hymns, daily news, and current events. He responds to listener emails each Friday on “Open Mic Friday.”

On Thursday, October 10th, the Lord, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, called to eternal rest our brother, The Rev. Dr. Tom Baker. We are thankful for his many years of service to KFUO Radio and keep his family in our prayers. Funeral arrangements are listed in the obituary at schrader.com/obituary/pastor-thomas-tom-baker.

Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. Romans 6:3-5 ESV

Law and Gospel waz independently produced by Pastor Tom Baker. Views and opinions expressed on this program may not represent the official position of the management or ownership of KFUO Radio, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
