The LCMS has sent Mercy Medical Teams to underserved regions around the globe for 10 years. These teams provide desperately needed health care to thousands of patients. These trips give medical professionals the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of settings.
Guests on today’s program are three members of the Mercy Medical Team who recently traveled to Kenya. Dr. Jeff Pruitt is a general surgeon from Defiance, OH. Brian Lund is a Thrivent Financial Representative and former medical technologist in Orlando, FL. Tracy Quaethem is Manager of Life and Health Ministries for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
