Most of us who heed the Apostle Peter’s call in 1 Peter 3:15 to be prepared to present an apologia (Greek for defense) will do so never in the formal debate model, but more in a conversationalist setting where it “will more than likely take any number of disjointed turns, dive down rabbit holes, and sputter out of gas before arriving at the intended destination.”
