College academic years have started across the country. This is a momentous time of transition for a freshman, and exciting times for upper classmen. A new living arrangement, a new schedule, new freedom, and new relationships all meet young people as they go from high school to their next academic adventure. Campus Ministries and home congregations provide ongoing prayer and support for their walk with Jesus. Bio: Ron DuPree is a DCE who serves as the Director of Youth and College Ministries at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denton, Texas. Ron serves youth and families at the church as well as students at the University of North Texas, and Texas Woman’s University. Ron is a graduate of Concordia University Irvine, and a current graduate student at Concordia Irvine’s Townsend Institute for Executive Coaching and Consulting. When there is free time, he enjoys restoring an old Corvette, motorcycle riding and dirt biking and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
