This session will explore how we can reclaim a right relationship with technology by establishing healthier habits of technology use and media consumption. With Christ at the center, technology finds its proper place in our lives.
Bio: Rev. A. Trevor Sutton is senior pastor at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lansing, Michigan. He is also a PhD candidate at Concordia Seminary and teaches in the digital humanities graduate program at Concordia University – Ann Arbor. His most recent books include Redeeming Technology (co-authored with Dr. Brian Smith, MD., Concordia Publishing House, 20121) and Clearly Christian: Following Jesus in This Age of Confusion (Concordia Publishing House, 2018). Sutton’s writing on technology has appeared in The Washington Post, Religion News Service, The Lutheran Witness, The Christian Century and elsewhere.
