Rev. Tim Mueller— Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, Illinois, and Dr. Nancy Peterson, Organist at Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah, Illinois, join Andy and Sarah to talk about the upcoming Organ/Hymn Festival at St. John’s New Minden entitled “O Christ, Our True and Only Light.” The service will consist of congregational singing of hymns from the Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648), interspersed with Scripture and devotional/historical commentary. Come early to enjoy a pre-service recital featuring the works of Bach, Buxtehude, and Burkhardt.
