Benjamin Helge serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a career missionary in the Eurasia region, based in Havířov-Šumbark, Czech Republic. He works closely with the Silesian Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (SECAC) and Project M.I.S.E. In the Czech language, Project M.I.S.E. stands for Mobilizace, Integrace osobnosti, Společenství, Evangelizace. Translated into English, Project M.I.S.E. stands for Mobilization, Integration, Fellowship, Evangelization. Currently, Project M.I.S.E. works toward the vision of 21/10, starting 21 mission groups over a 10-year period. As part of the 21/10 vision, Benjamin works in Havířov-Šumbark with one of these mission group teams. He teaches conversational English in public schools and leads weekly mission clubs in English and Czech. During the summer months, he helps organize English Bible camps in the Czech Republic and Poland. Benjamin also coordinates the LCMS GEO (globally engaged in outreach) missionaries who serve in the Eurasia region. Read more at lcms.org/helge.
