Teaching Your Children the Gospel through Art
Liturgical Artist Kelly Schumacher joins us to talk about teaching children the gospel through art. She speaks to the importance of art in the lives of children in the church, including how art can explain Bible stories and liturgy in a very understandable way. Art is all around us in the church and in daily life, and she tells how these simple symbols and also more complicated works of art can help children understand the Gospel and life in the church. Kelly will be joining vocalist Erin Bode for “Art & Song” at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres, MO, on Sunday, November 20.
