Concordia University Irvine
Emily Beckman, Sr. Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions for Concordia University Irvine, speaks about the unique opportunities for students at CUI. With a campus just outside Los Angeles, California, CUI offers a beautiful campus community as well as opportunities in the city. Exercise Science, psychology, business, biology, and communication are the popular majors, and CUI also offers church work programs such as pre-seminary, pre-deaconess, and DCE. A very unique opportunity for students is Enduring Questions and Ideas, a program incorporated into classes to encourage students to think critically. As an NCAA Division II school, student-athletes have many opportunities to excel. Students involved in arts and music can earn scholarships even if they are not art or music majors, which encourages participation in the arts. Numerous off-campus activities help students build their own community and enhance their college experience. Listen to the interview to learn even more about CUI!
