Walking Together
Walking Together is a volunteer program in St. Louis that works with the homeless to get them back on their feet. Walking Together mentors Larry and Linda Lemke join Humanitri’s chaplain of the board, Rev. Dr. Kevin Golden, to talk about the partnership between Walking Together and Humanitri. Humanitri is a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and “Reaches out with Help and Hope” to work with the homeless and recently incarcerated in order to move them back into a self-sufficient life. Walking Together’s mentors work with Humanitri’s case managers to add another layer of help and support for those working to break the cycle of homelessness.
