Deaconess Mary Moerbe
Mary Moerbe is a rostered deaconess–a mercy worker–of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. She has a masters of arts in theology from Concordia Theological Seminary, and went to college at the University of Oklahoma. Though primarily a stay-at-home mother, she is a writer, speaker, and choir director. Her books include Family Vocation: God’s Calling in Marriage, Parenting, and Childhood (Crossway 2012), co-written with Dr. Gene Edward Veith, and next January Concordia Publishing House will publish How Can I Help? God’s Calling for Kids, a book for young children. Her husband Ned is the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Blackwell, OK, and they look forward to meeting their fourth child.
